Junior Flores
"buknoy"
A neighbor of SBCHome had brought Junior Flores to us. She had been left with Junior by relatives of hers. Her relatives had been living beside Junior and his mother in Manila. Junior’s mother had been put into prison because of murder. Before Junior’s mother had been sent away she asked her neighbors to care for Junior. The neighbors took care of Junior for awhile but then got tired and brought Junior here to Olongapo and that is when he was left with our neighbors. He had not been with our neighbors long when they brought him to us. We were so happy to take Junior into our home.
The look on Juniors face when I first saw him is unforgettable. You could tell that he was looking for love and he was so hurt by all the past rejections. Juniors face was so transparent as if it was written plainly on his face “Please take me!”
Junior is a delightful child. He is also a very responsible boy regardless of how young he may be. Junior says he want to be a preacher when he grows up. Last school year he won the preaching contest which we had at school.
