Subic Bay Children's Home

We are trying our best to contain the mosquitoes (Carrier of Malaria and Dengue). One of our Boys have just gotten out of the hospital for acquiring Dengue/ malaria fever. We have purchased mosquito nets which we cover the children’s beds with at night and also we spray the rooms every afternoon. Now, that the girls have a new dorm with screens on their windows we don’t have much of a problem with mosquito’s with them. It is the boys who are suffering. Last year the Boys dorm had been destroyed by a typhoon that came through during rainy season. We rented an adjoining lot to the children’s home which had a house on it and that is where we placed the boys. We have since been trying to raise funds to build a boys dorm but funds have been slow to come in. I doubt if we even have ¼ of what we need. I understand that it is mainly because we have just finished building the girls dorm and donations were directed towards that. Above is a perspective design of the boy’s dorm. I ask you to please make this a matter of prayer. The boys really need a new dorm. Their living quarters are not adequate for them at all and we hate to see them have to still be there when next rainy season comes again.

Join Sponsor-A-Child Program

For as little as $35.00 a month, you can help provide a home for a child. You would be helping in providing food, clothing, medical, and education and spiritual training to a abandon street child. As a sponsor in our Sponsor-A-Child program, you will receive a picture and information on the child you are helping sponsor. You would be able to write back and forth to your child. Help Care For A Child

here are thousands of children living on the street in the Philippines with no one to care for them. These children have been abandoned by their parents and abused by adults. Many of the children are the products of the prostitutes of the city and US servicemen and tourists. These children often go to sleep hungry and sick. It is our desire to reach as many of the children as we can and provide them a loving and caring Christian home. You can help by joining the Sponsor-A-Child Program. By joining the Sponsor-A-Child Program you will be helping us reach a child that has no one else to care for him. We need two sponsors for each child at $35.00 a month.

Subic Bay Children's Home has obtained a property of 7.7 acres. We need to build a building to house more children, a school building, a library, kitchen and dining facilities, bathroom facilities, laundry facilities, recreation facilities and staff housing. We need to purchase a variety of equipment. Beside sponsoring a child at $35.00 a month we would like to ask you to pray about how much you could give towards the developing the facilities of the children's home.

When you sign up to sponsor a child we will send you a picture and an information package on your child. For the sake of the children, we pray that we will hear from you today.
